S1 Corp to upgrade Pune facility

THE Atlanta-based S1 CORPORATION, which has a facility in Pune, has decided to make India an important product development centre.

Mr James `Chip' S. Mahan III, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, S1 Corporation, said it was planning to move about 20 new products by the end of the current financial year. Mr Mahan said the Pune centre was rated the best in terms of technical matrix. The centre is being upgraded for development capabilities from just writing codes.

Mr Andrew Kass, Vice-President, S1 Corporation, said the first project will start soon.

Mr Andrew also noted that it was looking at India as an important hub to develop and market its products and was increasing its headcount to 400 from around 300 by December.
