Alliances & Joint Ventures NBCC signs pact with ONGC Our Bureau
New Delhi , Sept. 13 NATIONAL Buildings Construction Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with ONGC for the construction of Green, Energy Efficient and Barrier Free Office buildings in New Delhi and Mumbai, entailing a value of about Rs 400 crore. "NBCC will undertake construction of buildings from concept to commissioning, on behalf of ONGC, based on its functional requirements and would implement the projects in 30 months including construction period of 24 months," an NBCC release said here. Signed by Mr Subir Raha, Chairman and Managing Director, ONGC, and Mr Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD of NBCC, on Monday the scope of the work for Delhi project would include construction of ONGC Energy Centre and Corporate Offices with a built-up area of about 5.05 lakh square feet for ONGC Group of companies, while that of Mumbai project would involve execution of an office at Bandra-Kurla Complex.
