Campus interviews at Madurai Kamaraj

Our Correspondent

Madurai , Sept. 13

MADURAI-KAMARAJ University plans to organise a campus interview for students of its affiliated colleges, on the lines of Anna University, for placements in 100 vacancies at a US-based multinational company (MNC).

According to the Vice-Chancellor, Dr P. Maruthamuthu, the exercise will open up better opportunities for the students.

The campus interview will be conducted by jobsd.com, a Chennai-based employment portal, which had signed a memorandum of understanding with the university in June last. Graduates in any discipline with more than 65 per cent marks can register at the university.

A team from the employment portal will visit the university on September 16 to prepare a list of candidates that would be forwarded to the MNC. The interview date was yet be finalised, said the Dean, University - Industrial Consultancy and Placement Cell, Dr P.R. Athappan.
