State Bank of Hyderabad launches Net-banking

AIMED at increasing the banking convenience levels to thousands of its customers, both retail and corporate, the State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has announced the launch of retail Internet banking and core banking facilities here on Wednesday.

According to the SBH Managing Director, Mr Amitabha Guha, the bank proposes to shortly introduce several value-added services through Internet banking. These include bill payments, PPF credits, LIC premium payments and trade finance services.

The core banking facility offers anywhere and anytime and fast banking convenience to customers across the country. Having already brought 277 of its branches under the CBS platform, the bank has set a target of connecting all its 936 branches under core banking before the year-end.
