Madurai , Sept. 14

A WEEK-LONG National Theatre Festival is to be held in Madurai from September 20.

Organised by the South Zone Cultural Centre, Thanjavur, in association with the Art and Culture Department of Tamil Nadu and the Madurai District Administration, the festival will be inaugurated by the Tamil Nadu Governor, Mr Surjit Singh Barnala.

Socially relevant issues would be highlighted. Admission is free for the public. Compering in Tamil at regular intervals has also been arranged to overcome the language difficulty.
