Hyderabad to host national management meet on Sept 23-24

TOP leaders from Corporate India will be in Hyderabad on September 23-24, to offer insights into various business areas at the 32nd National Management Convention.

Mr K.V. Kamath, MD & CEO of ICICI Bank; Mr Harish Mariwala, CMD of Marico Industries; Mr C.P. Jain, CMD of NTPC; Mr Venu Srinivasan, CMD, TVS Motors; Mr Jalal Dani, Vice-President, Asian Paints Ltd, and others will address different sessions at the NMC.

Organised jointly by the Hyderabad Management Association (HMA) and the All India Management Association (AIMA), the theme of the meeting is "The Best of the Best: Spirit of the Challenger," according to a HMA press release here.

Among the participants from international companies, Mr Rafino L. Dela Rosa, President, Chowking Food Corporation of the Philippines, and Mr John Clarkeson, Global Chairman, The Boston Consulting Group, are expected to be key speakers.

The Union Defence Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, would be the chief guest at the inaugural session, while the former Foreign Minister Mr Jaswant Singh would be the chief guest at the valedictory session.

The event is being held for the first time in Hyderabad. The main sponsors are Satyam Computers Ltd, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, ONGC, the State Department of Information Technology and Communication, GVK Industries, Andhra Bank.

About 800 delegates are expected to participate in various sessions. While Mr S. Sivakumar is the President of the HMA, Mr Sunil K. Alagh is the President of AIMA.
