Citigroup hikes stake in Tata Coffee

Bangalore , Sept. 16

The Citigroup has recently increased its stake in Tata Coffee to over five per cent of the company's paid-up capital.

The Citigroup Global Markets (Mauritius) Pvt Ltd has acquired about 54,500 shares of Tata Coffee from the open market, aggregating to 0.44 per cent of the company's total paid-up capital in the first week of September. With this acquisition, Citigroup Global Market (Mauritius) Pvt Ltd's holding in Tata Coffee has increased to 6.724 lakh shares aggregating to 5.39 per cent of the company's total paid-up capital.
