Chennai , Sept. 16 THE Bharatiya Janata Party will move three resolutions on the Government at the Centre, the economic situation and the security concerns at the three-day meeting of its National Executive that started here on Friday. Briefing presspersons on its agenda for the meeting, the BJP Vice-President, Mr Venkaiah Naidu, said that the resolutions drafted today would be on the "political situation with particular reference to the 14-15 months of misrule of the UPA Government." Another resolution would be on the plight of the common man and the derailment of the economy and rising prices. The third resolution would relate to internal security. The executive committee would discuss the resolution on economic issues and conclude it by Saturday. Apart from the programmes of the BJP to mark its silver jubilee, the executive committee would also discuss preparations for the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Assam, West Bengal, Kerala and Pondicherry. It was also possible that Karnataka might also decide to go to the polls early, he said. The BJP has decided to go it alone in Tamil Nadu, and will not ally with either of the Dravidian parties in the State. It will aim to move away from the "politics of negativism and vengeance," he said. Mr L.K. Advani, in his presidential address, a copy of which was circulated to the press, raised concerns about the rising prices of commodities. The Centre was letting the Left Parties strangulate economic reforms. The Planning Commission in its mid-term appraisal of the Tenth Five Year Plan has expressed worry over the agriculture sector, which was nowhere near the growth target.
