IN order to showcase the country's technological prowess, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be organising the 11th Technology Summit later this month. Canada is the partner country for the year.
The summit will showcase India's technology knowledge and reflect examples of overseas technologies.
The annual event focuses on an interface between research and development bodies, academic institutions, industry and Government, and an opportunity to discuss technology related issues with experts and leaders from industry, academic institutions and Government.
The summit also provides a meeting place for technology developers, innovators, scientists, academicians, and large companies, besides presenting a forum for networking and making new business contacts and market openings.
The 2005 Summit would see participation from the partner country Canada, which will showcase its key technology strengths in the areas of telecommunication, pharmaceuticals, agriculture biotechnology, health, aerospace, advanced manufacturing and environment technologies.
