V.V. Rao to head AFL's logistics divn

New Delhi , Sept. 21

AFL Private Ltd, provider of integrated supply chain management solutions in India, has appointed Mr V.V. Rao as the Chief Executive (Logistics).

Mr Rao will be based in Mumbai and in addition to managing and expanding the activities of AFL's existing logistics division across the country, he would be responsible for establishing a large-scale surface express and trucking operation, the company said in a release.

Mr Rao's was earlier with Reliance Logistics as vice-president and was responsible for domestic trucking operations.

He has also served Transport Corporation of India Ltd and Gati Ltd in a variety of roles.
