Diplomat calls on AP CM

HYDERABAD: The British Deputy High Commissioner for South India, Mr Mike Connors, said the southern Indian economy has been showing substantial increase in growth-trend in the recent past.

In his brief interaction with the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the British official evinced interest on issues on commerce, IT and infrastructure, according to a statement from the Chief Minister's office.

Dr Reddy, on his part, explained the progress the State had made in the areas of technology.
