A SAVING of one minute on every flight will help the airlines industry to save up to $4 four billion annually while the environment will benefit from a reduction of 10 million tonnes of emissions, according to Mr Giovanni Bisignani, Director-General and CEO of IATA.

He was emphasising the need for improving the efficiency and cutting costs by airlines in the wake of the spiralling aviation fuel prices.
