City Union Bank ties up with ECGC

COIMBATORE: City Union Bank Ltd has tied up with Export Credit & Guarantee Corporation Ltd (ECGC) for marketing export credit insurance products through its branch network.

The agreement was inked by the Chairman and CEO of City Union Bank, Mr S. Balasubramanian, and the Executive Director of ECGC, Mr S. Prabhakaran. The bank would now be able to extend bancassurance service to its customers, particularly those in the international trade. For ECGC, it is said to be the 13th agreement entered into with any bank.
