THE country's top golf clubs will vie for honours at the Signature Golf Championship beginning from October 1.

Around 4,000 amateur golfers from 30 clubs across 20 cities will battle it out for the championship, Mr Vijay Rekhi, President UB Group (Spirits Division), told reporters here on Tuesday .

The three-tier tournament will start with the intra-club stage, where the participating club members play amongst each other to select the club team. Stage two is the regional finals where the clubs will play against others from the region to decide the regional Champions. Finally, the four regional champion clubs will be pitted against each other for the grand finale to be held in Bangkok, he said.
