CHILD Relief and You (CRY) is organising its 7th annual quiz — Free A Child Today — in seven major towns of the country, with its regional rounds kicking off from September 27.

The regional rounds of the corporate quiz would be conducted by Mr Gautam Bhimani, quizzer and cricket presenter, in Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.

The national finals would be conducted by Mr Derek O'Brien in Delhi on October 28.

Maruti Suzuki is the presenting sponsor for this year's event. Teams that have confirmed participation in the quiz include those of Sify, IBM, Infosys, HP, Siemens, Wipro, TCS, Daksh, Adobe and Moser Baer, among others.

So far, 680 companies have participated in the annual quiz, helping CRY raise Rs 50 lakh for the benefit of over 6,000 children.
