Bangalore , Sept. 27

BANGALORE-based search firm CRV Consultants on Tuesday announced re-branding and expansion of its business.

Now renamed Mind Group, the company will offer services in three areas: Mind Search for top-level search, Mind Select for selection and Open Minds for contracting. To keep pace with the growth of the IT and telecom markets in China, the company plans to start operations in Hong Kong soon, said Mr B. R. Sheaker, Managing Director, Mind Group, at a press conference here. This will be a strategic move to get into the Chinese recruitment industry, said Ms Jennifer Hill, Chairperson, Mind Group.

"We want to leverage on our strengths here and capitalise on the IT growth in that country," she said. Apart from the Chinese IT recruitment market, the Hong Kong operations would also enable Mind Group to make inroads into top-level recruitments in the finance industry, as most global banks and funding companies operating in the Asia Pacific region are headquartered there. CRV Consultants is a 13-year-old search firm reporting a revenue run rate of Rs 7.5 crore a year. With offices across six locations in the country, CRV has achieved over 11,000 placements.

This year, the company is targeting a 50 per cent growth in revenues with an increased focus on the biotech and financial sectors, Mr Sheaker said.
