Rubber continues to post gains

THE rubber market continued to post moderate gainson Wednesday. Absence of quantum sellers as most of the dealers and growers preferred to hold stocks kept the prices bullish as buyers from major sectors were active in the market .

In futures trade, October contract was quoted at Rs 63.70 (62.73), November at Rs 62.50 (61.69), December at Rs 62.27 (61.37) and January at Rs 62.33 (61.66) a kg for RSS 4.Spote prices were: RSS-4 RS 62.50 (62.25); RSS-5: Rs 61 (Rs 59.50); ungraded: Rs 59 (Rs 58.50); ISNR 20: Rs 61.50 (61.50); and latex 60%: Rs 41.50 (Rs 41).
