The Hindu Business Line : India Fashion Week to be conducted twice from next year

STARTING from next year, India Fashion Week (IFW) will be organised two times in a year, with the Fall-Winter event to be held in March-April and the Spring-Summer event to be held in September-October each year.

Not only that, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the host of the event, also plans to have two ramps at the event from next year, to facilitate increased designer shows.

FDCI has entered into an agreement with Percept D'Mark, a sports entertainment management company, for raising sponsorships and implementing IFW for three years, from 2006 to 2008.
