Our Bureau

Chennai , Sept. 29

MARGINS for Polaris Software Lab have improved to upwards of 50 per cent for some of the projects that the company has implemented to clients such as Deutsche Leasing and Shinsei Bank, according to the company's Chairman and CEO, Mr Arun Jain.

The margins were around 20 per cent when Polaris had a service-based strategy with these clients, he told newspersons.

According to Mr Jain, the company had implemented its product (Intellect suite) in 8-10 projects, including retail and corporate banking for clients. These products were based on service-oriented architecture, which is a framework to construct and interlink a company's back-end systems, he said.
