ECMi to expand in Pune

PUNE has been chosen by the Dallas-based Enterprise Commerce Management LLC (ECMi) to expand its software development and consulting operations. Mr Nitin Ahuja, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ECMi, told mediapersons , the company was focusing on outsourced enterprise packaged product development.

The company, he said, was also working on a product in the healthcare segment. Mr Ahuja said the company had so far invested $2 million in its Pune facility, which houses 65 software professionals.

The company had shifted to Pune recently from Bangalore and had consolidated all its operations here.

He said the Pune centre would be supporting its customers based out of Asia Pacific, Europe and a little bit of North America.

He added that the company is planning to buy out the venture capitalists Dilion and Joyce by2007 as also the angel investor.

ECMi Software Pvt Ltd, an STPI registered company, is a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of ECMi US under the heads of Mr Vasu Ramanujam and Mr Pulin Kumar.
