New Delhi , Sept. 30

RAILTEL, a PSU under the Ministry of Railways, is in talks with various banks to set up ATM kiosks at railway stations.

Speaking at the sidelines of annual conference of RailTel, the Managing Director, Mr K.K. Bajpeyee, said the organisation has invited various banks for a discussion on the issue on October 4.

"For the ATM kiosks, while RailTel would provide bandwidth, the Ministry could provide land on the stations," he said. However, details of the arrangement are yet to be thrashed out.
