Mangalore , Sept. 30

THE Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative (Campco) Ltd has strengthened the chocolate marketing division to boost the sales of finished cocoa products.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday after attending the 31st annual general meeting of the cooperative, the Campco President, Mr L.N. Kudoor, said that the strengthening of the marketing network has helped in increasing the sales of finished cocoa products. In the current financial year, the wing has registered a growth of 40 per cent, he said.

Asked if the chocolate factory at Puttur in Dakshina Kannada district will be leased out to any company, he said, "We are not going to lease out the factory to any company. We will run it on our own and make profit."
