Hand tools from Raymond

Our Bureau

MUMBAI: JK Files and Tools, a division of Raymond, has launched a range of hand tools called Soft Grip.

These include forged special steel pliers, adjustable wrenches, ball pen hammers, claw hammers, sledge hammers, spanners that include ring spanners, combination spanners and screwdriver sets.

`Soft Grip' hand tools are designed to provide comfort and minimise fatigue while working, according to a company release. The range also includes an `eight-in-one' Soft Grip screwdriver set with magnetic tips.

"With affordability, increased awareness and need for efficiency, there is tremendous scope for the growth and usage of high quality tools in India," said Mr Harshal Jayavant, President, Engineering Business, Raymond Ltd. "Growth in the economy and rising labour costs will drive more home users to adopt hand tools for attending to minor repair and maintenance jobs in their homes themselves," he said.
