New Delhi , Sept. 30

RMG Group of Germany, which specialises in design and fabrication of natural gas pressure reduction and metering stations as well as meters, pressure regulators, flow computers among others has signed a joint venture agreement with India's Autometers Alliance here on Wednesday.

Addressing a press conference, the Managing Director of RMG Group, Mr J. Herbert Arents, said that the distribution of natural gas through pipelines from the well to the consumer was essential to achieve energy security for India.

"RMG Autometers will play a key role in the design and fabrication of pressure reduction and metering gas stations here as well as the supply of high technology equipment for gas stations," Mr Arents said.
