Public Sector Banks SBM (Coimbatore) branch surpasses deposit target Our Bureau
Coimbatore , Oct. 2 THE Coimbatore main branch of the State Bank of Mysore has surpassed its deposit target of Rs 11.03 crore to touch Rs 14.47 crore for the half-year ended September 2005. According to the branch head, Mr Kulandaivelu, the net profit more than doubled the estimated target of Rs 30 lakh to reach Rs 70 lakh and the NPA recovery during this period stood at Rs 3.26 crore. The branch is in the process of re-establishing by adding one value-added product/service every month. In August, the single window concept was introduced, followed by the Griha Mitra service last month. It is expected to offer CBS (Core Banking Solution) service to its customers within the next couple of days.
