`Develop LNG fleet under Indian flag'

THE Shipping Ministry has asked Indian ship owners to take the initiative to develop a LNG shipping fleet under Indian flag.

Mr. D.T. Joseph, Secretary to the Ministry of Shipping, told newspersons that ship owners had delayed in getting LNG ships under Indian flag. "They should take this initiative without further delay, instead of asking for Government support for LNG cargo," he said.
