ALPHA Medical Services Pvt Ltd has launched a one-stop shop for all healthcare needs here on Wednesday. Set up at an investment of Rs 4.5 crore, the Alpha Family Health Mall is a four-storied centre that has a polyclinic, a diagnostic centre offering basic pathological tests and a healthcare store. A medical equipment division under the same roof allows healthcare institutions to source their hospital furniture and surgical equipmentfrom there. Addressing a news conference here, Dr Vijay Kejriwal, Medical Director of Alpha Family Health Mall, said the diagnostic centre has a polyclinic, an advanced pathological laboratory, X-ray facilities, portable USG, computerised ECG and facilities for microsurgery, and so on. There is a 15-bed day care centre, an operation theatre, an intensive therapy unit, and a neo-natal intensive care unit, among others. The thrust would be on women, childcare and day care. Dr Kejriwal said a hospital consultancy unit would cater to the needs of upcoming healthcare facilities. The mall will also have offerings from companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Dr Morepan, Maestro, and so on. Health foods and protein foods would also be on offer. As part of its marketing initiatives, a Family Health Card scheme for families and corporates would be launched.
