Seminar on retailing in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) has organised a seminar on `The chemistry of Indian retailing - A paradigm shift.' Mr Girish Mallpani, Chief Executive Officer of MPM Mall, said the consumers wanted a lot more than just buying things. The mall culture in the consumers was growing.

Mr R. Balachandran, Chief Executive Officer (AP) of Reliance Infocomm, observed that retailing was not just selling a product or service. It was about building a relationship with the customer, an IIPM press release said here on Thursday.
