IA officials chosen as board members

AHEAD of its proposed initial public offering, the Government has appointed three senior officials of Indian Airlines as directors on the board of the State-owned airline.

An official statement said that the Director Personnel, Mr Anup Srivastava; the Commercial Director, Mr Anil Goyal, and the Director Finance, Mr M.S. Balakrishnan, have been appointed to the board.

The airline is expected to tap the capital market either later this year or early next year, sources said.
