Goldstone to be renamed Aubrey, eyes consulting

Hyderabad , Oct. 10

GOLDSTONE Technologies Ltd, software services company, has announced plans to revamp its operations and is in the process of changing its name to Aubrey Soft Ltd.

The Managing Director of Goldstone, Mr K. S. V. Chalapathi Rao, told Business Line that the company has got its shareholders' nod for the name change and has received approval from the Registrar of Companies.

Goldstone had earlier this year acquired US-based Stay Top Systems Inc, and is now planning to address consulting services.

The company plans to provide technical support outsourcing services, he said.

Goldstone has inducted Mr V. P. Singh, former Chairman and Managing Director of IFCI, Mr Mahesh Prasad Mehrotra, a US-based venture capitalist, and Mr Vikas Mehrotra on its board of directors.

Goldstone plans to change into a consulting and solutions provider in the areas of Oracle applications, data warehousing, business intelligence and enterprise application integration.

With both revenues and net down marginally, the change in business and the ongoing revamp exercise would result in better returns to the company, said Mr Rao.
