Indiabulls net up 46%

INDIABULLS Financial Services net profit rose 46.42 per cent to Rs 59.93 crore during the second quarter of this fiscal compared with Rs 40.93 crore in the same period last year.

The company's total revenue rose 58.5 per cent to Rs 155 crore during July-September this fiscal as against Rs 97.78 crore in the year-ago period, a company release said.

During the quarter, Indiabulls completed listing of 2.7 crore Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) at the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

Consequent to the GDR issue, the consolidated net worth of the group has increased to over Rs 1,300 crore and the paid-up share capital of the company has increased to Rs 32.41 crore.

On Monday, the stock price of the company rose 2 per cent to Rs 187.70 on the BSE.
