Tata Tele's new mobile phone

KOCHI: Tata Teleservices has announced the launch of a branded mobile phone, Indicom Star, in the Kerala market. Indicom Star is a stylish new mobile phone, which comes with a large screen size and 65k colour display.

It is equipped with polyphonic ringtones, LED alert on front panel for SMS and incoming calls. It is also T-SIM enabled, thus providing additional memory for phone book and SMS.

Mr M.A. Madhusudan, Chief Operating Officer, Tata Teleservices - Tamil Nadu and Kerala circles, said that this new mobile phone is designed and manufactured for Tata Indicom by ZTE, one of the largest telecom equipment manufacturers in the world.

The product is available at Rs 3,499 and the customers get an activated handset along with a free talk-time of Rs 50 and 100 per cent talk-time. The new offering is another step towards Tata Indicom's consumer philosophy of "Do More Live More", he said.
