Palm Treo 650 available at Hutch shops

MOBILE manufacturer Palm Inc has announced that the Treo 650 smart phone will be available through network operator Hutch in India.

A smart phone is a mobile that offers PDA features, such as e-mail, organiser and Web access. It can also be used to read, edit and create spreadsheets and documents. The Treo 650 has a built-in MP3 player and a digital camera that can capture still as well as video images. It is powered by Intel XScale chip and has power-saving capability.

In a press release, Mr Paul Blinkhorn, Vice-President, Palm Asia-Pacific, said: "Whether it's reviewing email, viewing a presentation or simply making a conference call, the Treo 650 smart phone lets busy people manage the critical components of their lives while out of the office."
