Arvind Motors turns 50 tomorrow

ARVIND Motors Pvt Ltd, one of the dealers of Tata commercial vehicles in the South, will celebrate its golden jubilee on October 15.

Mr Ravi Kant, Managing Director of Tata Motors Ltd, will inaugurate the golden jubilee building of the company here on October 15.

Addressing newspersons here on Thursday, Mr A. Kishore Rao, Managing Director of Arvind Motors Pvt Ltd, said that the golden jubilee building houses an ultra-modern workshop, vehicle showroom and spare parts unit.

The company, which has 23 branches in Karnataka, has drawn up various projects to commemorate its golden jubilee. Of the three new workshops planned in the State, one will come up at Bidadi in Bangalore in a month. The company also has plans to open a sales outlet in Bangalore, he added.

Asked about the market for commercial vehicles in Mangalore, Mr Rao said that the segment of multi-axle vehicles has seen a steady growth in the region.

Mr Sham Mani, Vice-President (Sales and Marketing), Tata Motors; and Mr R.K. Ghosh, Vice-President (Customer Care), Tata Motors, will participate in the inaugural of the golden jubilee celebrations, he added.
