New Delhi , Oct. 13

THE Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCS) is said to have acceded to the request of Kingfisher Airlines to submit a finalised formula by close of business on October 18 on how it will fulfill the shortfall in the available seat kilometre (ASKM) for Category 2A routes.

Among the options being explored by the airline include purchasing surplus ASKM from Air Deccan on its Category 2 routes.

The airline has also stated that if it is unable to get the ASKM from Air Deccan, it would utilise its brand new Airbus A-320 aircraft which is due to arrive on October 22 for operating flights on Category 2 routes.
