John Abraham to endorse Castrol

CASTROL Lubricants on Friday announced actor John Abraham as its new brand ambassador.

The company signed up the actor to cash in on his image of a bike lover and also a youth icon. Earlier, brand ambassadors for the company were cricketers Rahul Dravid and Adam Gilchrist.

While announcing the brand ambassador, Mr A.S. Ramchander - Director, Automotive Business, Castrol India Ltd, said: "Castrol is a Superbrand which has been in India for over 85 years.

The signing of John Abraham is in line with our philosophy of getting the right connect with our customers. John is a hero amongst two wheeler enthusiasts who form a large part of our customer base".

Commenting on his association with the company, John Abraham said, "I am a die-hard bike enthusiast and like most others of my breed, I am a loyal Castrol consumer. So when Castrol approached me to be its brand ambassador, I was thrilled."
