N. Ramachandran is new CPT Chairman

Kochi , Oct 14

MR N. Ramachandran, IPS, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Cochin Port Trust.

A 1978 batch Assam Meghalaya Cadre Officer in the rank of Additional Director General of Police, Mr Ramachandran was till recently serving as IGP of Special Protection Group, in charge of Prime Minister's security. He will assume the charge of Chairman of the port shortly, a release issued from the port said.
