Coir Board to participate in Shanghai show

WITH a view to showcasing the capabilities of Indian coir sector through display of products available for export, Coir Board is organising national participation of coir sector in the Made in India show organised by CII in association with Consulate General of India at Shanghai from October 17 to 20.

The show to be held at the at Intex Exhibition Centre in Shanghai has been organised with the objective of increasing bilateral trade between India and China as well as to promote joint ventures and investment and co-operation between the two countries.

Coinciding with the exhibition, CII is deputing a CII-CEO mission to China during October 17 to 19. Mr A.C.Jose, Chairman of the Coir Board is a member in the CII-CEO's mission to China, a press release issued here said. During the visit, Mr Jose will hold discussions with the Mayor of Shanghai, Consul General of India and leading businessmen besides meeting prospective buyers and other stakeholders, including representatives of chain stores and department stores in China.
