Rubber prices

"Rubber prices flare up to Oct record level", (Business Line, October 14) is good news for farmers. The opportunity could be made the most of by creation of a stabilisation fund or such an insurance scheme that could act as a buffer when prices fall. Such an insurance could be clubbed with crop insurance for all farm products.
