Dais collapse

Recently the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, narrowly escaped when the dais he was standing on collapsed. Now the Railway Minister, Mr Lalu Prasad, has suffered a bruise following the collapse of the rostrum.

If daises erected for VVIPs can collapse, what will be the fate of those built for lesser mortals?
