Cochin Chamber conducts workshop on manufacturing

KOCHI: The Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising a half-day workshop on Thursday at Casino Hotel, Willingdon Island to deliberate in-depth the draft report of the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council on the National Strategy for manufacturing.

The objective of the workshop is to enable the participants to understand the future direction of manufacturing in India, cost competitiveness, enhancing the role of small and medium enterprises, and the place of public sector competing the market. Mr Aryadan Mohammed, the State Minister for Electricity, will inaugurate the workshop.
