Qualcomm to hold developers meet

THE California-based Qualcomm, provider of digital wireless communications products and services based on CDMA and other technologies, on Tuesday announced that the BREW 2005 Developers Conference-India will be held on October 26-27 in Mumbai.

Qualcomm's application development platform for mobiles, Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (BREW), allows software developers to create and run programs for mobiles.

The theme of the event is `BREW for Success' and includes speakers from the global wireless industry who will highlight advances and opportunities in the areas of mobile gaming, customisable user interfaces, multimedia, mobile messaging, business applications and more.
