Speaking to Business Line, Ms Pearl Uppal, Sales Director, Yahoo! India, said that the Big Idea Chair Award, honours creative achievements on the basis of real world market success.

"In the US, the award is based on various parameters such as campaign effectiveness and outstanding creative, but in India, the award would be given to the client and agency, which has most effectively revitalised its brand through intelligent use of media and creative."

The winner of the award would be decided by the Effie jury and the prize would be a huge purple chair, which according to Ms Uppal, has been imported from the US.
