Events Computer Association of Eastern India to hold IT fair in Kolkata Our Bureau
Kolkata , Oct. 19 COMPUTER Association of Eastern India has announced Compass-2005, its annual exhibition in Kolkata to be held later this month. The exhibition is billed as the largest IT show in the region, which will draw about 90 participants, including representatives of multinational companies and regional players. IMRB, the market research agency, has been mandated to conduct a survey on the products and services offered by IT industry in the East. The survey is being conducted among Compassmembers. A panel of experts is being appointed to judge the performance of the participating companies and their wares. Compass, a press release said, provides a common platform for all players in the IT industry and its end users. The IT Industry in the State has undergone a major change in recent times. West Bengal, Computer Association of Eastern India feels, is the next IT hub.
