The custard apple season is in full swing with arrivals peaking in Hyderabad. Vendors, especially tribes from Turkapally mandal near Bhongir in Nalgonda district, have descended on the city in large numbers and are doing brisk business selling the fruit. The fruit is sold at about Rs 5 a piece.
