Letters Sensex closing figure
Recently, while tracking the closing Sensex figures on October 18, one found that the numbers telecast on two TV channels were incorrect. This inaccurate information may have would have misguided millions of investors, notwithstanding the attempts to remedy the blunder. It would help if SEBI took up the matter with the media and guided them onto the right track. V. Krishnamoorthy
