Indraprastha Gas hits FII buy limit

THE Reserve Bank of India has notified that foreign institutional investors can make no further purchase of equity shares of Indraprastha Gas Ltd under the Portfolio Investment Scheme in the primary or secondary markets without the prior permission of the central bank.

According to a release from the RBI, Indraprastha Gas Ltd has reached the limit of 22 per cent of its paid-up capital.
