Granules India Q2 net, sales increase

HYDERABAD: Granules India Ltd, the city-based pharmaceutical company, has posted a growth of 37 per cent in gross sales and 35 per cent in net profit for the second quarter of current fiscal ended September 2005.

The gross sales improved to Rs 41.72 crore from Rs 30.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, while net profit rose to Rs 1.99 crore (Rs 1.47 crore), yielding an EPS of Rs 1.62 (Rs 1.78) on the expanded equity base of Rs 12.31 crore (Rs 8.3 crore).
