SPEL net down at Rs 2.4 cr

CHENNAI: SPEL Semiconductor Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 2.45 crore on revenue of Rs 11.15 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005, compared with a net profit of Rs 3.93 crore on revenue of Rs 8.64 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

It hopes to achieve a net profit of Rs 6.5 crore on revenue of Rs 52 crore for this fiscal. The accumulated loss of the company has been brought down to Rs 3.94 crore from Rs 13.5 crore as of March last year.
