New President of TAAI

MUMBAI: The annual general meeting of the Travel Agents' Association of India (TAAI) has elected Mr Ashwini Kakkar as its new President.

Mr Kakkar is the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Thomas Cook (India) Ltd.

The AGM, held on October 19, also named Mr C.V. Prasad, Managing Director, Travel Express, Hyderabad, as the new Vice-President. An official statement said Mr Rajinder Rai, CMD, Swiftravel International (P) Ltd, New Delhi, has been appointed the Honorary Secretary General, while Mr Sunil Kumar, CEO, Travel World, Secunderabad, will serve as the Honorary Treasurer.
